Lena McAllister, 26, from Carlisle, was left fighting for life after crash in 2009. After losing control of her car, she left the vehicle and was hit by 40-tonne lorry. She was flung 90ft through the air, resulting in a shattered pelvis and femur. Lena then spent the next 10 months recovering in hospital and a care home. Eight years on , she wants to become a model and advocate for disabled people. (dailymail)
