Amanda was born without a left arm. Growing up, she had to learn how to do many things differently than most of her peers. From tying her shoes to writing in her notebook, she developed her own methods for completing everyday tasks with only one arm. But in spite of the challenges, Amanda found ways to feel normal and thrive.
Despite her disability, twelve-year-old Alicia has never given up her dream of one day becoming a professional dancer. She has been hard at work in the studio, determined to make her dream a reality. The other girls in the studio have been very supportive of Alicia, cheering her on as she practices. Even though Alicia is an amputee, her friends encourage her to keep going and wish her the best of luck in her pursuit of her dreams.
